We are looking for an onsite Field Service Representative (FSR) who will be a critical member of the Persistent Systems Air Force Technical Team supporting the Regional Operating Picture (ROP) program in Cheyenne, WY. The Field Service Representative will provide forward, hands on support to solve our customer’s most difficult ROP problems and maintain full operational capabilities of the ROP network. Among other things, this role will be critical to developing long-term customer relationships. The onsite FSR will serve as a member of the onsite technical team and become a subject-matter expert in the support of Wave Relay® communications solutions and will be responsible for the technical aspects of ROP solutions offered to our customers. The FSR will have daily direct and recurring interaction with our customers and will play a pivotal role in communicating technical challenges to our Project Field Operations Representatives and Field Application Engineers. Persistent Systems, a company manufacturing Ad hoc Networking (MANET) wireless systems for government and commercial applications, is looking for an individual who is highly motivated to analyze, troubleshoot, and support the manufacturing and logistics processes as well as the ERP system.   Position Responsibilities  - Serving as first line support of day-to-day activities on the shop floor and with ERP Systems - Supporting ERP new software release process including fixes and upgrades with technical team and users - Troubleshooting reported bugs or errors with the manufacturing process and/or the ERP Systems - Recommends new features or changes to configuration and workflows based on user feedback and business requirements - Collaborates with operations teams in researching, designing, and developing ERP operational reports for all business units - Maintains SOP process documentation for all ERP functions

Persistent Systems is seeking a Software Test Engineer who will be responsible for software testing for our Wave Relay® products. This includes providing special analysis required for initial software testing, quality assurance, and regression testing. The Software Test Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet customer and management requirements, as well as Persistent Systems' quality standards.    Position Responsibilities - Testing the software development and equipment for the Wave Relay® system - Development and implementation if a wide range of low-level software, hardware development, and testing of application software (including device drivers, Linux kernel modules, network stack development, and other low-level programming activities) - Supporting in-house and in-the-field engineering activities including travel to customer sites - Integrating other systems, sensors, and components with the Wave Relay® system - Writing technical proposals
