Persistent is looking for an Intergration Engineer to join its Integration Engineering team. As part of our Integration Engineering team, you will support and facilitate system integration of Persistent products, test planning and execution, network design, RF mapping, Cyber Security, report generation and delivery, and responses to RFIs and RFPs.  You will play a pivotal role in communicating technical challenges and new requirements to our engineering department as you strive to solve problems. This role requires excellent communication skills as you will be required to work across the entire Persistent Systems team including Sales, Field Operations, Programs Management, Engineering, and Quality to provide customer solutions.    Position Responsibilities  - Maintain an expert knowledge of Persistent Systems products in order to build customer relationships through interpreting and developing their requirements   - Integrate Persistent Systems products to meet complex system requirements  - Develop and carry out test procedures that determine that the outcome of the integration has met the requirements  - Convey system integration progress to the management team, and escalate issues and concerns expediently  - Identifying short-term and long-term customer issues; provide information and data pertinent to deliberations, and recommending options and courses of action    - Conduct Root Cause analysis to troubleshoot customers’ integrated system issues and collaborate with the product development and test engineers to resolve technical issues.   - Developing test plans, methodologies followed by final reports and summaries for both internal developers and external customers   - Educating the organization and clients about the system and hardware integration procedure, its implementation, and its use.  - Track and carry out integration tasks to ensure that systems integration on Persistent System’s products are functional.  - Defining integration strategies and methods and then planning them in accordance with established deadlines and time schedules  - Creating and providing technical documentation that explains upcoming or existing integrations to non-technical individuals  - Provide technical updates to customers for new products and firmware improvements  - Developing technical portions of responses to RFI / RFP and other similar customer requirements

You will be heavily involved in the development and implementation of a wide range of backend service development in C/C++ and Java, front-end web and Android app development, and the development of application software running on the Wave Relay® network. We are looking for a Project Control Analyst with a keen interest in project controls, system management, and compliance, and experience interfacing with Programs and Capture to join our team. You will join our rapidly growing team at Persistent Systems’ New York City headquarters and help to support the successful operation of the company’s contracting and capture functions. This role reports to the head of the Pricing Team. This position offers visibility and requires extensive contact with all program team members, contracts team, and accounting staff in the development of Cost and Compliance tracking efforts. This includes understanding contractual management through compliance and cost tracking for ongoing programs. Activities include planning, tracking, and management of cost to actuals in accordance with customer requirements and current government regulations, laws, and company policies.   Position Responsibilities - Establish and maintain project controls, including document and system management, change management, and performance measurement - Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices - Collaborate with legal and contract teams to ensure that projects adhere to relevant regulations and contractual requirements - Develop and maintain compliance tracking mechanisms for projects - Collaborate with internal and external auditors to provide necessary documentation and support during compliance reviews - Monitor project budgets, expenses, and financial performance against established baselines - Generate regular financial reports for project managers and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and variances - Provide insights and recommendations based on financial analysis to optimize project outcomes - Assist in forecasting project financials and identifying potential risks and opportunities - Analyze project performance data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for efficiency - Identify and assess financial risks associated with projects and propose mitigation strategies - Conduct risk analysis and provide recommendations to project teams to ensure proactive risk management - Monitor changes in project scope and assess their impact on project financials

We are looking for an Accountant with experience in maintaining a general ledger including processing accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintaining fixed assets.  The ideal candidate is organized with proven experience in maintaining records and posting transactions in a timely manner. This position requires attention to detail, problem solving and team working competencies.       Position Responsibilities - Performing general accounts payable functions including checking, verifying, and processing invoices, entering accounts payable data, and maintaining vendor files - Utilize strong analytical skills to ensure payments are posted to correct balance sheet accounts and that they roll up into the correct expense classification - Performing general accounts receivable functions including the preparation of customer invoices, receiving, and posting payments as well as the maintenance customer files - Perform bank and credit card reconciliation, matching transactions to expense accounts - Preparing, examining, and analyzing accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards - Performing general journal entry adjustments at month end to accrue expenses and unearned revenue - Performing Balance Sheet Account reconciliations monthly to ensure account balances are correctly stated - Developing and adhering to strong internal control structure and procedures - Draft recommendations for new and necessary controls for review by the Accounting Manager and Controller - Assuming responsibility for inventory accounting including valuation, reconciliation and all accounting entries and adjustments - Performing compliance review of expense reports in addition to processing - Providing recommendations for report policy updates as needed - Modifying and documenting accounting procedures for understanding, backup, and cross training - Handling all client matters with strict confidentiality - Handling ad-hoc project requests to analyze financial information and find cost reduction opportunities
