Job Description & Responsibilities

Persistent Systems is looking for a University Relations Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team.  As a University Relations Recruiter, you will play a critical role in the success of the organization.  You will work on developing and enhancing Persistent Systems talent branding with schools throughout the country.  You will also source and pipeline candidates in a variety of cutting-edge engineering fields.  These Engineers will solve some of the most complex problems in the wireless networking field.   The University Relations Recruiter will source and pool talent in the AI, software, network, hardware, RF, and electrical engineering fields. 

 

Position Responsibilities 

  • Identify appropriate candidates through proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via multiple recruitment channels
  • Operate as an ambassador for the Persistent Systems Talent Brand
  • Provide recruitment support for Human Resources, including scheduling, coordinating, and facilitating in-person, phone, and video conference interviews
  • Manage the recruitment process of our internship program
  • Coordinate the transition process from internships to permanent placements within the company
  • Interface with university career counselors

Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, public relations, social sciences, business, or related field of study
  • 1 year of candidate sourcing experience using industry standard methodologies
  • Outgoing personality with personal drive to create professional relationships
  • Articulate communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Competitive nature
  • Campus recruiting experience
  • Must possess the ability to obtain US Security Clearance. Requirements include US Citizenship, favorable fingerprint check, credit check, and completion of a background investigation

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in marketing, public relations, social sciences, business or related field of study
  • 3+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience within Software, Hardware or RF engineering fields
  • Experience using Enterprise Recruiting Software: ICIMS, Workday or similar system
  • Experience with talent management

 

The salaried compensation for this role can vary from $73,000 to $91,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
