Job Description & Responsibilities

Persistent Systems is looking for a Technical Recruiter to join our Talent Acquisition team in our Fort Collins, CO offices.  As a Technical Recruiter, you will play a critical role in the success of the organization.  You will work on filling positions that will solve some of the most cutting-edge problems in the wireless networking field.   The Technical Recruiter will pool and hire talent in the software, network, hardware, RF and electrical engineering fields.  You will also interface with the Universities in the greater New York City area in order to develop relationships with career counselors and department heads for engineering programs.  You will attend career fairs on campuses and help to establish a sourcing pipeline of university students and market our talent brand to undergraduate and graduate students looking to gain their foothold in a rewarding engineering careers based in NYC. 

 

Position Responsibilities 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the needs and roles to be filled; reviews job descriptions for vacancies
  • Assist with the development and revision of specifications and job descriptions for selected positions
  • Identifie the most effective methods for recruiting and attracting diverse candidates
  • Draft recruitment advertisements; posts and/or places ads in the most effective digital and/or print media for open positions
  • Identify appropriate candidates through proactive sourcing of active and passive candidates via multiple recruitment channels
  • Qualify candidates through review of their resumes, interviews, and other forms of communications
  • Schedule interviews for qualified candidates with hiring managers
  • Manage the candidate experience through efficient process management and maintains contact with candidates to keep them apprised of the status of their applications
  • Provide advice to hiring managers with final candidates
  • Manage applicant tracking system to actively track, manage and record candidate’s status
  • Facilitate contacts by creating and maintaining a presence in the technical/industry community and marketplace
  • Attend university job fairs and campus activities in order to spread a marketing footprint within the university career placement systems
  • Operate as an ambassador for the Persistent Systems Talent Brand
  • Collaborate with our leadership teams in order to relay the staffing needs of upcoming projects to the talent base
  • Manage the recruitment process of our internship program
  • Coordinate the transition process from internships to permanent placements within the company
  • Interface with university career counselors

Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Business or related field of study
  • Strong understanding of technical engineering concepts with a focus on embedded software development
  • 1-3 years of full cycle technical recruiting experience within Software, Hardware or RF engineering fields
  • Outgoing personality with personal drive to create professional relationships
  • Articulate communication skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Competitive nature
  • Must possess the ability to obtain US Security Clearance. Requirements include: US Citizenship, favorable fingerprint check, credit check, and completion of a background investigation

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Social Sciences, Business or related field of study
  • 3+ years of full cycle technical recruiting experience within Software, Hardware or RF engineering fields
  • Experience using Enterprise Recruiting Software: ICIMS, Workday or similar system
  • Experience with talent management
  • Campus recruiting experience

 

The salaried compensation for this role can vary from $85,000 to $130,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
