Persistent Systems is looking for a Quality Technician with hands-on experience with electronics and mechanical testing, troubleshooting, and repair.  The position will also support/assist in determining trends, processes, and continual improvement related to nonconforming products.  Responsibilities may also include developing documentation, testing, and technical support to manufacturing.

Position Responsibilities 

• Diagnosing, troubleshooting, and processing of Persistent Systems products
• Maintain and report metrics related to nonconforming products
• Assist Quality Engineers with process and product improvements based on failure trends
• Lead nonconforming product testing and disposition
• Assist in the rework of diagnosed product
• Provide technical support to manufacturing based on findings
• Communicate with customers and suppliers on technical matters  

Minimum Qualifications 

• 2yr Technology Degree or a related field or equivalent experience
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to work with a great deal of autonomy
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience with troubleshooting electronic components
• Experience using ERP system and following documented procedures

 Preferred Qualifications  

• Experience in assembly and testing Persistent Systems Products 
• Experience soldering 0201 PCB components
• Demonstrated experience with root-cause analysis and troubleshooting
• Demonstrated experience with quality control and facilitating continuous process improvement

The base pay for this role can vary from $90,000 to $113,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
