Job Description & Responsibilities

Persistent Systems is seeking a Field Operations Logistics Associate who will be responsible for providing support to the Field Technical Services and Support division. This individual will assist the Field Operations Technical Administrator in ensuring the team’s logistics, inventory and administrative goals are met. This includes inventory control, shipping and receiving, warehouse upkeep and database management, as well as preparing equipment kits for customer demonstrations and other events.

 

Position Responsibilities 

  • Manages the inbound and outbound shipment and receipt of all equipment, materials, and supplies in the Fort Collins office
  • Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments
  • Promptly unloads equipment and deliveries, sort and stocks items in inventory
  • Maintains an accurate and live inventory by logging daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately
  • Organizes warehouse and maintains clean and orderly work environment
  • Pulling and packing FT2S equipment to be shipped to events and demos
  • Strong sense of time organization and urgency
  • Able to work independently and within a team
  • Manage an enterprise resource program (ERP) and internal protocols for inventory movement
  • Collaborate with Management and Operations to find solutions to issues that may arise with space, delays, damaged product or back-ordered items

 

Job Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Qualifications 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of professional experience
  • Knowledge of shipping integrated systems such as UPS, FedEx, DHL - Domestics and International
  • Literacy in MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook/Exchange
  • Strong communication skills
  • Superior organizational and documentation skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety, PPE, MSDS, ergonomics, forklift safety, mechanical assembly and quality control SOP’s
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement practices and procedures
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Must have a United States security clearance or the ability to obtain a United States security clearance

 Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with information management systems: ERP/MRP
  • Hazmat Certification (Ground, Air or Sea): DOT/IATA/IMDG
  • Certified for forklift and pallet operations

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions although most of the time is in an office, workstation, shared space, and/or warehouse. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate with occasionally high volume.

 

Total compensation for this role can vary from $60,000 to $70,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
