Persistent Systems is seeking a Principal Wireless Communication Systems Design Engineer to join our team and be based in our NYC headquarters. In this role, you will be part of a best-in-class Ad Hoc Network system engineering development team. You will work closely with the teams like architecture, RF, FPGA, Software and DSP for the FPGA based SDR (software defined radio) design. You will involve the SDR system performance evaluation, data analysis, issues troubleshooting and performance optimization (power efficiency, signal quality, size of logic resources) to meet the System Design Specifications.

Total compensation for this role can vary from $180,000 to $220,000 a year based on individual qualifications. Eligibility for yearly discretionary bonus.
