  • Job Description & Responsibilities

    Persistent Systems is looking for a Director of Business Development C4ISR who will be providing Wave Relay® based technical solutions to Fortune 500 companies and Government customers, providing a new generation of communications capability to Air Force and Intelligence Community. Position is located in Fort Collins, Colorado.

     

    POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Forge strategic relationships with customers by solving critical problems with cutting edge technology.
    • Communicate Persistent Systems’ value proposition to varying technical and non-technical clients, including executive ''C'' level management, VP, and Director levels, and end-users
    • Contribute to the design of technical solutions to meet prospect's business, technical, and/or financial goals
    • Support and speak at tradeshow, associations, customer demonstrations and press events
    • Develop requirements documents, presentations, proposals and ROI models, and coordinate with a team of support specialists, consultants, or project managers to execute sales objectives or to ensure that all pre-sales customer requirements are documented and transitioned
    • Work closely with Marketing and Engineering by providing feedback from information gathered during sales projects
    • Partner with Value Added Companies to provide full solution systems

    Job Qualifications & Experience

     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical communications.
    • 5+ years of experience in technology sales to Defense, Intelligence, Cyber Security or Autonomous Systems with demonstrated technical field operations experience
    • Demonstrated ability to successfully present technical material to large groups and adapt presentations to the technical level of the audience
    • Detailed insight into the Air Force and Intel Community mission with emphasis on Intelligence Operations and Services-related programs is required.
    • Able to travel up to 50% of the time
    • Active Top Secret security clearance

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Master’s degree in Business or a related field
    • 5 years’ end user experience in C4ISR (air/ground), aviation, or robotics industries
    • Sales engineering and/or consulting experience
