Job Description & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Marketing Associate who will be responsible for coordinating with our third party creative agency and internal resources to develop Marketing content and deploy strategic messages to increase brand awareness of Persistent Systems’ Wave Relay® products. Working from our New York City headquarters, you will be responsible for content generation, collateral creation, event organization, customer communications, social media management, and more.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing marketing plans for new products to create excitement around releases and support sales efforts
  • Writing, updating, and maintaining company collateral, including working with outside vendors responsible for graphic and web content
  • Managing the company’s social media marketing
  • Organizing and attending trade shows and related events
  • Working with the sales team to develop strategic messaging tools to unify company communication
  • Analyzing and interpreting marketing data to drive marketing strategies

Job Qualifications & Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • At least 2 years of Marketing experience that involved creating Marketing collateral
  • Copywriting experience
  • Event management experience
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Must have a United States Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a United States security clearance

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 3 years of Marketing experience that involved creating Marketing collateral
  • Experience interpreting and marketing complex technical products and services
  • Experience in Marketing in a business-to-business (B2B) technology company
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop
  • Experience providing creative direction for marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Marketing experience in Defense, Aerospace, or related industries
