Job Description & Responsibilities

We’re looking for a Marketing Manager who will be responsible for channeling our company’s vision to develop a comprehensive marketing strategy and deploy strategic messages to current and prospective customers. As our sole in-house Marketing professional, you will be responsible for fulfilling these objectives through content generation, collateral creation, event organization, customer communications, social media management, and more. Our ideal candidate will be someone who will thrive in a highly autonomous role and has experience in end-to-end marketing activities and marketing highly technical products.

 

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Developing marketing plans for new products to create excitement around releases and support sales efforts
  • Writing, updating, and maintaining company collateral, including managing outside vendors responsible for graphic and web content
  • Organizing and attending trade shows and related events
  • Working with the sales team to develop strategic messaging tools to unify company communication
  • Analyzing and interpreting marketing data to drive marketing strategies

Job Qualifications & Experience

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration or equivalent experience
  • Experience interpreting and marketing complex technical products and services
  • Experience providing creative direction for marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • 3-5 years of copywriting experience
  • Event management experience
  • Must be willing and able to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Must have a United States Security Clearance or the ability to obtain a United States security clearance

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5 years of Marketing experience
  • Experience in Marketing in a business-to-business (B2B) technology company
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign and Photoshop
  • Marketing experience in Defense, Aerospace, or related industries
